Weaver, Marcile Martin

June 21, 1970-Feb. 29, 2000

Marcile Weaver, 29, 65312 C.R. 9, died Tuesday at 8 a.m. at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne, after an extended illness.

She was born June 21, 1970, in Foraker, to Elias and Ida (Horst) Martin.

She married Matthew Weaver on Sept. 6, 1990, in Goshen.

She was a lifetime area resident, a homemaker and a member of Old Order Yellow Creek Mennonite Church.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Elton and Glenn Weaver, both at home; her parents, Goshen; three brothers, Elias Martin Jr. and Kenneth Martin, both New Paris, and Harlan Martin, Goshen; two sisters, Arlene (Mrs. James Martin, New Paris, and Loretta (Mrs. Samuel Newswanger, Goshen; and two grandmothers, Ruth Martin, Goshen, and Lydia Horst, Ephrata, Pa.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and all day Thursday at the family residence.

A prayer service will be held at the family home Friday at 8:45 a.m.

Funeral services will be at Old Order Yellow Creek Mennonite Church on Friday at 10 a.m. Bishop Elvin Martin of Home Ministries will officiate.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are by Thompson-Langacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa.

Wright, Paul W., Jr.

Wright, RoseAnn M. Yoder, 48, and Paul W. Wright Jr., 46, of Burbank Road, died Friday evening, Oct. 13, 2000, from injuries sustained in an auto accident near Mathias, W.Va.

RoseAnn was born Sept. 7, 1951 in Akron to Richard and Rosalie (Hooley) Yoder.
Paul was born Nov. 15, 1953 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Paul and Virginia Wright.

Surviving are two sons, Nigel and Kiernan.

RoseAnn is also survived by sisters, Gretchen (John) Christopher of Cobbs Creek, Va., Christina (Vic) Buchwalter of Keezletown, Va. and Amy (Randy) Murray of Orrville and brothers, Richard (Connie) Yoder Jr. of Normal, Ill. and Jermiah Yoder of Orrville.

Paul is also survived by his parents of Rockford, Ill. and a sister, Mary Sue Wright, also of Rockford, Ill.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Grove Mennonite Church, Smithville with Jayne Byler and Ralph Reinford officiating. Burial will be at 9 a.m. at Oak Grove Mennonite Cemetery, Dalton, Ohio

Yoder, Rosalie J. Hooley
, 77, Orrville, OH died Friday evening, Oct. 13, 2000, from injuries sustained in an auto accident in Mathias, W.Va. She was born May 26, 1923 in Ligonier, Ind. to Orlando and Clara (Stoltzfus) Hooley. She married Richard J. Yoder on Aug. 28, 1948.

Surviving are daughters, Gretchen (John) Christopher of Cobbs Creek, Va., Christina (Vic) Buckwalter of Keezletown, Va. and Amy (Randy) Murray of Orrville, sons, Richard (Connie) Yoder Jr. of Normal, Ill. and Jeremiah Yoder of Orrville; a sister Joy Schrock of Ontario, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Grove Mennonite Church, Smithville with Jayne Byler and Ralph Reinford officiating. Burial will be at 9 a.m. at Oak Grove Mennonite Cemetery.

Gresser Funeral Home in Orrville is handling arrangements.

Zimmerman Laban G.
, Sr., 86, of Dillsburg, PA. died April 17, 2000 at home. Born Oct. 2, 1913 in Mechanicsburg, PA to George H. and Ella Weaver Zimmerman and the widower of Emma Longenecker Zimmerman, who died Dec. 17, 1988.

A lifelong farmer, he was a member of Kralltown Mennonite Church, East Berlin, PA.

Mr. Zimmerman is survived by two sons, Marlin R. of Unity, Wis. and Laban G. Jr. of Carlisle, PA; four daughters, Barbara Jane Dougherty, Faye A. Earhart and Linda A. Zimmerman of Dillsburg, PA and Fern E. Zook of Bainbridge, PA; 30 grandchildren; and 94 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Esther M. Villanueva.

Funeral Services were April 24, 2000 at Kralltown Mennonite Church, East Berlin, PA with Bishop Elmer H. Kreider, Bishop Noah D. Rudolph, Minister Elvin Z. Rohrer and Deacon Marvin D. Strite officiating. Burial will be in Slate Hill Mennonite Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.

Zimmerman, Susie Brubacher

Aug. 5, 1931 - Dec. 17, 2000

Susie Zimmerman, 69, 26540 C.R. 36, Goshen, died at 7:50 a.m. Sunday at her home following a four-month illness.

She was born Aug. 5, 1931, in Emmet County, Mich., to William and Annie (Weaver) Brubacher. She married Kenneth Zimmerman on April 5, 1953, at the home of her parents in Southwest.

Zimmerman is survived by her husband, three daughters, Jolene (Mrs. Ernest) Martin of Brooten, Minn., and Brenda (Mrs. Delbert) Martin and Karen (Mrs. Donald) Martin, both of Goshen; four sons, Kent, John, Matthew and James Zimmerman, all of Goshen; and 28 grandchildren.

Also, six sisters, Ruth (Mrs. Henry) Burmeister of Salem, Ore., Wilma (Mrs. Dana) Shaum of Wakarusa, Naomi (Mrs. Alvin) Martin of Decker, Mich., and Florence (Mrs. Vernard) Guengerich, Emma (Mrs. Normand) Zimmerman, and Esther (Mrs. Steven) Walter, all of Goshen; and two brothers, Paul Brubacher of Shipshewana and Wayne Brubacher of Goshen.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home in Wakarusa. A family prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church in Goshen with burial in Yellow Creek Frame Cemetery.
